Our Youth ministry at St. Mary of the Angels has one simple mission:
Lead teens to Christ.
We provide opportunities and experiences that are Christ-centered. We believe that learning about our faith is possible by living a life that is authentically Catholic.
St. Mary of the Angels also sponsors valuable retreat experiences for teens. This has included sending a delegation to World Youth Day in Germany in 2005 and will include sending a delegation to World Youth Day in Poland in 2016. Since 2002, the parish has sent a group of teens to the famous Steubenville Youth Conference in Ohio on the campus of Franciscan University of Steubenville. This is a weekend Christ-centered, sacrament-soaked, prayer-fueled immersion in Catholic teachings on faith, evangelization, and discipleship inspired by the life and witness of St. Francis of Assisi.
